Oobstacle 1: no gate entrance
The field was on the mountain the gate was at the end of the hill and the trees right at the top on the other, my husband decided we would 'just' jump up and into the ditch with the chair, across the barbed wire (his full of 'great ideas') "oh right" i said "sure that will be grand, you go first!", of course in his fit physic and well experienced ditch and barbed wire jumping, due to being a farmer, he jumped up with the chair and all, not a bother.
Obstacle 2 : the ditch
My turn , so clever me, I handed him the chair, and then was like, right just jump up here and over the wire, sure I couldn't get a grip with the summer shoes i was wearing (totally the shoes fault nothing to so with me) and my 3/4 lenght pants as i slided down the dry dirt with no grip, trying to avoid the wire and the nettles and holding on to the ditch, But sure of course I got stung by them nettles, just where the gap was from the 3/4's pants to my shoes, typical , stupid nettles. I got there eventually as i was literally dragged up the side of the ditch by my laughing husband, (imagine if i didn't bring him, I'd prob still be there now) . Thank God i thought just take the pictures now and ill be away,
Obstacle 3 : the SUN?
little did i know that the Sun in Ireland would harbour me on my quest for a good looking photograph, every time i changed the position of the chairs the light just bleached out the chairs , no matter where I put them , they looked all white, Disaster!
Obstacle 4 : Forest insect life , While we were getting setting up the chairs, we got ate alive my midgets, flies , wasps and every type of a big winged insect going, it was like they had never seen a person before and decided it was best to just attack, so I quickly got the chairs into the shade and took this picture , and getting back over the ditch was alot easier than getting up, so as this image says timeless and classy , its only talking about the chairs ...... lousy on me !
